A Walk in the Neighborhood
While we most often head out to a park, it is nice sometimes to walk right here at home. Our neighborhood is established now and has some pretty mature trees. It also has a fairly new playground that Anthony asked to go to. So we did on November 3, making it the third day in a row we could walk - how nice! Augie even joined us.
I wanted to try to capture the fall leaves on new trees that were planted behind the At Home that now borders our neighborhood, but it got too dark. That said, we went around the other side and watched the sunset.
Then we headed home for dinner and just settled in for a quiet Sunday night. The time change has us all feeling like things are later than usual. It takes time to adjust. I have mixed feelings about it. I'd like it to be light a bit later since it would naturally get dark earlier even if the time didn't change. We lose out on opportunities to take evening walks on weeknights this time of year. We'll just have to do our best.
Thanks for reading!
