🍁 Autumn Leaves Are Peaking in Dallas 🍁

Forgive the number of through-the-car-window pics here. These are really not very good at all, even where I was able to get out of the car. Sigh. Nevertheless, I had to try to capture what I could today. Storms are moving in tonight and between the expected heavy rains and wind, we may not have so many leaves left by the time Toby and I walk this weekend. The weather will be beautiful by then, but the leaves may not be in their prime. Today, they were. Peak autumn leaves are fleeting.

These are just to give a sense of the brightness and variety of colors this year. Toby fondly and vividly remembers the spectacular fall foliage of 2013. I recall being home sick and with an infant that year and missed out. This year is bound to rival that.

I'm glad I took a little time out to enjoy what I could before getting back to work. I hope that we can get some really great pics Saturday and Sunday and that the leaves hang on a bit longer. But just in case....

Thanks for reading!
