🌊 The Waves Are Big on the North Shore Today! 🌊
I was going through my list of live web cams this morning (and this one), as I often do before starting my school and work day, and when I got to the Pipeline cam from the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii, I noticed that the waves are really big over there today! Look further back in the screen and you'll see waves really, really far back from the shore. They must be enormous.
Toby and I so wish we could be there to watch them in person. I find choppy seas and big waves both exhilarating and soothing. I loved having time to sit and watch them on Anacapa this summer.
We are coming up on our one year anniversary of our first real Adventure for 2 which happened over there - in Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii. I need to post about that soon. I have some neat pics and even video, but Toby's are really spectacular. We were able to drive up to the North Shore on our last day there and happened upon a surfing tournament. The waves were awesome and were not even as big as they can get.
Our trip was well before I started this little blog, but I want to write that up here. I hope to have it up on the anniversary of when we landed on Oahu, December 1.
I have so many posts I need to put up here - big and little. October is such a busy month and we took it all in this year and then some! If nothing else, I like having these posts to look back on and reminisce.
November, as my Toby has noted, is quieter - all about walks and Thanksgiving - and taking in the leaves here that are beginning to turn and are as pretty as they can be! More on all that very soon.
Thanks for reading!
