Another Birthday Gift from My Friend, Maggie

I posted the other day about my lovely birthday and my friend, Maggie, who is an author. She learned, quite by accident, that I had already purchased a copy of the book she gave me (which she autographed!). Being the lady that she is (and which I am not, although I'd love to be), she was determined to get me anther present. She sent these paperwhites home with Toby one day for me. How beautiful and much appreciated! I got to watch them go from bulb to flower. What a treat at my desk!

I actually am pretty simple in what makes me happy. I often tell Toby that I'm pretty low maintenance as a wife. The simple things really are the best. Simple nature is probably the absolute best.
